Citrix Presentation Server 4.5: The latest release delivers exciting new features such as application streaming. This breakthrough enables applications to be packaged and delivered to Presentation Server farms and user desktops without having to install them. Other new features of Version 4.5 include Health Assistant, which performs continuous server health checks and automatically initiates recovery procedures, and SpeedScreen™ Progressive Display, improving the performance of graphics-intensive applications such as PACS and GIS mapping systems.

Citrix NetScaler 8.0: The latest release of Citrix’s web application delivery solution now includes the award-winning Citrix Access Gateway Enterprise Edition, the SSL VPN for secure and intelligent application access. Other highlights include the web application firewall for application and data protection, and end-user experience monitoring to measure application performance.

Citrix has signed a definitive agreement to acquire XenSource a leader in enterprise-grade virtual infrastructure solutions. The acquisition moves Citrix into adjacent and fast growing datacenter and desktop virtualization markets.
